Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable and secure Kubernetes platform for various business units, ensuring security and regulatory compliance by defining and enforcing best practices, security standards, and access controls
  • Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines to manage Kubernetes resources efficiently, with a focus on optimizing for multi-tenancy, fair resource allocation, and cost efficiency
  • Work closely with developers to facilitate the onboarding, deployment, and operation of their containerized applications, acting as a subject matter expert and mentor to help teams adopt Kubernetes and foster operational excellence
  • Integrate the platform with observability solutions to enable development teams to monitor logs, metrics, and traces for effective troubleshooting and application management
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, and incident resolution to ensure reliability and performance
