Requirements

  • Capability to monitor subcontractors' progress, performance, contractual plans, measurements, quantities, and certifications
  • Experience in managing change orders, baseline curve adjustments, and related documentation
  • Knowledge of project documentation related to planning aspects
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities actively across the project
  • Willingness to work on-site in Casablanca, Morocco

Responsibilities

  • Create, with the Site Director, Cost Engineer, and client, a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) per internal procedures
  • Implement the project's Detailed Base Planning, integrating engineering, procurement, supplies, construction, and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with all client requirements for contractual documentation delivery (progress reports, curves, planning, reports, etc.) on time
  • Create base project progress curves according to internal procedures
  • Calculate actual project progress and update curves monthly
  • Perform periodic planning updates
  • Monitor manufacturing programs of supplies and subcontractors (bidding and contractual phases) to alert area managers and project director of potential deadline impacts
  • Prepare project status reports for the Project Director, Project Control Department, and Production Department
  • Elaborate client-required reports
  • Report any project delays
  • Develop acceleration plans when necessary
  • Conduct critical path analysis
  • Manage on-site resources, weekly production control, forecasting estimates, results analysis, and improvement proposals
  • Analyze deviations and propose improvements
  • Monitor subcontractors' progress, performance, and contractual plan compliance
  • Collaborate in activating other areas to meet deadline objectives
  • Incorporate Change Orders into planning, adjust base curves, and update client documentation
  • Monitor and control subcontractor measurements/quantities using Construction Department info, detect deviations, and assess deadline impacts
  • Know subcontractor certifications
  • Collaborate with Project Director and Site Director on personnel schedules (PMT and CMT) elaboration and updates
  • Support claims and contract management (EOTs, claims, arbitrations, etc.)
  • Maintain project schedule through progress tracking, activity coordination, and problem resolution
  • Contribute to accurate and timely monthly reports
  • Regularly inform Senior Management on implementation status and effectiveness
  • Actively identify project risks and opportunities in own area and overall project
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk processes
