Requirements

  • 3 years’ planning and/or project management experience in a construction/engineering environment
  • Good at multi-tasking and demonstrates sound judgments, including balancing competing issues
  • Specialized knowledge of project scheduling and program logic networking
  • Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning methodologies
  • Problem-solving / analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments on costing schedules to identify potential delays or disputes
  • Review site monthly status reports and ensures that Construction Programmes satisfy the requirements of Tender
  • Identify milestones, critical path tasks and long lead time tasks and reports against these (including estimating costs, preparing cost plans and estimates)
  • Review construction materials and methods used during construction processes, including making relevant interpretation of specifications, drawings and plans
  • Actively and constantly identify risk and improvement opportunities in relation to area of control and the wider project
  • Plans the overall construction and operation large scale civil engineering projects by maintaining a project schedule which monitors project progress
