Requirements

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Good understanding of piping design codes (ASME, API, DNV)
  • Robust mechanical design background
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility
  • Good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • Proactive and results oriented
  • (Desired) Valve engineering knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Structural verification of manifold piping and tubing
  • Create necessary structural design reports and drawings
  • Be part of a design team within manifold system projects
  • Work with other Engineers and management to develop design concepts
  • Contribute to team effort to meet project milestones and needs
  • Consider safety, quality, cost and manufacturability in designs
  • Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
  • Leading and contribute on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
  • Working cross functionally with other engineers and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables
  • Presenting analyses / design outcomes in design reviews when needed
  • Providing engineering support to program management
  • Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products
