Requirements

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to meet 2nd shift schedule requirements and shift flexibility (full-time, 40 anticipated weekly hours)

Responsibilities

  • Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with team members in the medication dispensing process
  • Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure they are back in a timely manner
  • Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records
