- Complete a rigorous company training program
- Satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation
- Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
- Comply with CVS policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with controlled substance dispensing and record-keeping
- Embrace a growth mindset, be receptive to feedback, and actively seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
- Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntarily traveling to stores in the market as needed
Responsibilities
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
- Assist patients and customers as the first point of contact to deliver an exceptional experience
- Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (e.g., production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, genuine care, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations and services, and solving or escalating patient problems
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership (e.g., putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories)
- Contribute to a high-performing team, safe and inclusive culture, and engaging team dynamic through effective communication and demonstration of genuine care
