Candidates must have completed a Pharmacy Technician training program, satisfied all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines, adhered to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices, and demonstrated the ability to follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation. Furthermore, candidates should possess demonstrated empathy and genuine care for patients.
The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence, assist with prescription fulfillment including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off, ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, offer immunizations and other services at the retail location subject to requirements, operate as part of the pharmacy team consistently applying SOPs and communicating effectively, and maintain a safe and inclusive culture.
