Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
0-2 years work experience (previous warehouse experience preferred)
Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to read, write, and count accurately
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
Physical requirements: constantly standing, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and moving boxes of merchandise (up to 30-50 pounds) using safe lifting techniques
Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks
Ability to work overtime

Responsibilities

Reviews, stores, and comprehends store orders, including item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed
Picks and prepares cut box tops and plastic from inner packaging for needed cases of product, placing items in a designated location for collection
Stocks cases of merchandise onto shelves for order selectors
Reads merchandise orders from an RF unit
Maintains an elevated level of accuracy for merchandise stocked to comply with departmental performance standards
Maintains consistent cleanliness of all work zones at the end of each shift to adhere to quality standards
Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure working areas and aisles are clear of debris, maximizing safety standards
Cross-trains employees in stock distribution and other associated warehouse duties
Works to maintain a safe working environment by following safety guidelines, standards, and requirements
Monitors day-to-day warehouse activities and operation flows, escalating exceptions or safety concerns to supervisors
Cross-trains in other warehouse tasks when needed
