  • Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and protecting cold chain products
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues as needed
  • Partner with Store Manager to maintain a talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
  • Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, manage performance through observation, feedback, and reviews

Responsibilities

  • Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
  • Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
  • Direct pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating compassionate care and resolving issues
  • Coach pharmacy team on empathy, care, and collaboration
  • Identify, engage, and support Pharmacy Technicians to immunize
  • Coach pharmacy team on inventory best practices
  • Train on CVS workflow and ensure timely training/licensure completion for trainees
  • Maintain pharmacy operations compliant with regulations
  • Partner with Store Manager for cross-trained colleague pipeline and training
  • Manage performance of Staff Pharmacists and DPSs via observation, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and gap closure
