Exhibit best practices when working the bench, including team coordination, patient counseling, and compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts with effective coaching and follow-up
Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and compassionate care; coach team accordingly
Collaborate with patient's total healthcare team and resolve insurance/medication issues proactively
Offer and deliver immunizations; support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory following best practices, especially cold chain protection
Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed
Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and their training/licensure
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), manage performance via observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure
