Responsibilities

Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, providing coaching and follow-up to strengthen performance
Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance/medication issues
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory following best practices, focusing on cold chain protection
Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion of training/licensure
Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues to Rx DL as needed
Partner with Store Manager to maintain cross-trained colleague talent pipeline and ensure training completion
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), manage performance through observations, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and gap closure
