  • PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy
  • Experience working in retail, hospital, outpatient, or fulfillment pharmacy settings
  • Experience providing patient counseling
  • Ability to work 20-29 hours per week (pharmacy open 7 days per week)
  • Must be able to commute to and work onsite at the Philadelphia pharmacy location during scheduled shifts
  • Proficient in pharmacy management software and tools
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions, lift/carry/push/pull/move light objects up to 50 pounds, effectively communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Reside in AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, KS, MD, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, or WI

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and on time
  • Provide patient counseling on the safe use of medications, side effects, and drug interactions to walk-in patients
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Help manage pharmacy inventory to ensure timely availability of medications
  • Mentor and support pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient care, drive efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of Alto Pharmacy
