Responsibilities

Receive prescription and refill requests and fill them accurately and professionally
Dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate retrieval, counting, pouring, weighing, mixing, packaging, and labeling
Provide medication counsel and advise customers on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, drug interactions, and storage
Order, stock, check inventory, and perform cycle counts in the pharmacy
Review and validate received orders, ensuring products are stored correctly
Handle outdated/damaged products according to established guidelines
Maintain pharmacy records, including customer profiles, insurance forms, and inventory
Lead and/or oversee pharmacy technicians and/or interns
Communicate with the Pharmacy Manager about any concerns
Maintain a clean and well-stocked department
Maintain and implement pharmacy programs
Provide clinical care services as assigned
