Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in pharmacy and have sterile compounding experience. A current license to practice in Florida is required, with multiple state licenses preferred. Additionally, candidates should have two to five years of experience managing or working with technicians.
The Sterile Compounding Pharmacist will supervise compounding, labeling, and daily operations in the pharmacy. They will complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records, perform pre-and-post compounding operational checks, and integrate new ideas and protocols into the workflow. The pharmacist will also supervise and assist technicians in preparing sterile admixtures, ensure compliance with SOP and batch record directions, maintain real-time inventory of pharmacy finished products, enforce personnel policies, and strive to resolve conflicts while maintaining a positive work environment.
