Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in pharmacy and be currently licensed to practice in Florida, with multiple state licenses preferred. A minimum of two to five years of experience in managing or working with technicians is required, along with sterile compounding experience and a strong understanding of FDA regulations and good manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
The Sterile Compounding Pharmacist will supervise compounding, labeling, and daily operations in the pharmacy. They will complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records, perform pre-and-post compounding operational checks, and participate in CAPA investigations. The pharmacist will supervise and assist technicians in preparing sterile admixtures, ensure compliance with SOP and batch record directions, maintain pharmacy finished products inventory, and enforce applicable personnel policies while striving to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
