Requirements

  • Ability to assist management with supervision of associates, including assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, providing direction on member service, resolving complaints per company guidelines, ensuring policy compliance, supporting Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting and handling, disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting/correcting unsafe situations
  • Experience overseeing ecommerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up, Ship From Club), auditing online feedback, resolving complaints, escalating issues, identifying trends, and implementing solutions
  • Skills in supervising associates for ecommerce, including training, providing resources, assigning duties, feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring coverage at pickup locations
  • Capability to execute Sam's Club Pickup plan, update operations with KPIs, audit orders, ensure equipment readiness, maintain strategy awareness, tour club for performance evaluation, train associates, evaluate processes/metrics, and support new metric development
  • Proficiency in supporting CPU efficiency projects using KPIs, leadership insight, modeling picking/loading, executing process improvements, identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and ensuring staffing
  • Member service skills, including acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding on self-service tech, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
  • Ability to maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation, handling claims/returns, zoning, stocking/organizing, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing, identifying shrink/damages, and securing fragile/high-shrink items
  • Oversight of picking and staging club pickup orders per company policy
  • Skills in developing, communicating, and implementing processes by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Commitment to demonstrating, promoting, and supporting compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity
