As a Personal Finance Staff Writer, you will:

  • Produce both short-form editorial content and long-form evergreen topic guides, reviews, and best-of lists.
  • Maintain a high volume of content production with efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, credibility, and value for our readers.
  • Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) to inform writing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with editorial and SEO teams to optimize articles for search visibility and audience engagement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to align content strategy with business objectives, focusing on revenue and user growth.
  • Stay current with personal finance industry trends and news to produce timely and relevant content.
  • Generate innovative content ideas based on market trends, audience needs, and data analysis.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance writing structure, increase velocity, and stimulate idea generation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A demonstrated personal finance voice, supported by a strong portfolio of published work. Experience writing for high-authority sites or building a following based on financial expertise is a plus.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience with financial products such as credit cards, bank accounts, and loans.
  • Strong editorial judgment.
