Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, leveraging data-driven insights to identify, analyze, and solve business challenges
  • Proficient in SQL with 2+ years of experience in developing queries and analyzing large datasets
  • Experience in coding languages and ETL applications (e.g., Python, Alteryx)
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint variances and recommend solutions to avoid variances in the future
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an interest in data-focused storytelling
  • Ability to lead projects from initiation through completion, facilitating stakeholder discussions, resolving issues, and ensuring milestones are met
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging Supply Chain data to drive decisions
  • Experience building visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience using Databricks
  • Consulting or Finance experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete analysis of financial and operational performance data (e.g., cost, service, speed) to identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end transportation network (e.g., carrier strategy, speed to market, transportation flows)
  • Design and build visual dashboards and recurring scorecards that enable stakeholders to track progress against goals, identify exceptions, and inform actions
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic top-to-top discussions with key internal and external partners (e.g., strategic customers, carriers/vendors, internal leadership)
  • Create reporting at scale that informs and influences business decisions
  • Contribute to the evolution of North America’s Transportation performance management framework by refining metric definitions, key performance indicators, and reporting standards
  • Provide detailed cost metrics to ensure the right carrier is used
