Position Overview

As a People Operations Coordinator, you will be a member of Cision’s global People Operations team, supporting employees throughout their full lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, creating and maintaining personnel records, and managing employment changes within our Human Resource Information System (HRIS). You will also act as a strategic partner to your People Partner colleagues supporting the US and work closely with stakeholders in our US group companies. You will be part of a People team that supports and collaborates with all Cision group offices around the world. You are detail-oriented, comfortable leading a team, developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, and not intimidated by systems or data. You are also a team player who fundamentally believes we are stronger together.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordination and processing of people-related data and documentation related to onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and employment contract changes for the US markets.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employment verifications, and right-to-work checks.
• Organize, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of personnel records within the HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Provide a first-class level of support to employees based in the US, across Cision and Brandwatch, by helping to manage a People team inbox and responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
• Work closely with our internal payroll team to collate and manage accurate and timely data before each pay cycle.
• Engage with Talent Acquisition partners and IT to ensure the procurement of IT equipment is issued for new starters in a timely fashion.
• Conduct/facilitate pre-employment reference checks, liaising with a third-party vendor.
• Work with the global People Operations HRIS team to conduct mass uploads into the system as needed.
• Support the People Partners with general administration and special projects as needed.
• Liaise with the global People Operations reporting team to obtain data and insights as needed.

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to daily tasks.
• Comfortable working with data, numbers, and Excel spreadsheets, with a willingness to learn new tools and functions as needed.
• Confident with HRIS and employee data management systems.
• Eager to work in a global team and lean in to support other employee groups as needed.
• Service-minded, with a ‘Can do’, problem-solving attitude towards both small and big tasks.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar role or field of work.
• Excellent MS Office Suite skills and experience.
• Experience with UKG is a plus.
