Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers in Sydney, handling questions and challenges
  • Run core People programs locally, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement surveys, and other global initiatives; adapt for Australian context and provide insights to global team
  • Partner with People Business Partners to execute local aspects of global initiatives like promotion cycles and org changes
  • Welcome new team members by partnering on onboarding, setting up workspaces, connecting to the team, and ensuring seamless first 90 days
  • Build local culture through team rituals, events, and celebrations that connect Sydney to global culture
  • Coordinate with Global Workplace and IT teams to keep the Sydney office running smoothly as the on-ground point person
  • Handle sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and judgment
