Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers in Sydney, handling questions and challenges
Run core People programs locally, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement surveys, and other global initiatives; adapt for Australian context and provide insights to global team
Partner with People Business Partners to execute local aspects of global initiatives like promotion cycles and org changes
Welcome new team members by partnering on onboarding, setting up workspaces, connecting to the team, and ensuring seamless first 90 days
Build local culture through team rituals, events, and celebrations that connect Sydney to global culture
Coordinate with Global Workplace and IT teams to keep the Sydney office running smoothly as the on-ground point person
Handle sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and judgment
