Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 0 to 2 years of clerical, bank, and/or client service experience with retail banking or operations exposure
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment while meeting critical deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to positively influence others
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision while managing time and resources
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles/methodologies and issue resolution techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations relative to deposit accounts and bank operations

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and excellent customer service to internal staff for payment operational areas (e.g., Wires, ACH, Cash Services, Items Processing, Exception Item Processing, Check Services, Faster Payments, Statement Rendering and Research, regulatory/compliance objectives)
  • Complete tasks accurately and timely while observing segregation of duties
  • Monitor functionality of automated processes and escalate potential issues
  • Complete assigned duties timely and escalate to leadership if concerns arise with meeting key processing deadlines
  • Provide telephone and e-mail support to internal clients
  • Escalate identified opportunities for process improvements in line with business line strategies
  • Assist with special projects related to operations (e.g., system conversions, acquisitions)
  • Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations
  • Ensure client data remains confidential and secure
  • Ensure processes are completed in accordance with Bank policies and key processing deadlines are met
  • Support branches and bank staff through review and documentation of critical and regulatory functions
  • Support the bank's strategic business plans, projects, and processes
