Requirements

Candidates must possess a Current Certified Healthcare Technician (CCHT) certification and be at least 18 years of age. Previous healthcare experience is not required, but a passion for helping others and a desire to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Technician, you will empower and train dialysis patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis using state-of-the-art training programs and equipment, primarily working in the clinic setting and conducting initial home visits with a staff member. You will also provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including setting up machines, obtaining vital signs, evaluating vascular access, and performing vascular access cannulation. Additionally, you will serve as an onsite Patient Educator and Case Manager, building relationships with patients and their families.
