Responsibilities
The Patient Care Technician 1 will provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments, including preparing patients, initiating and monitoring dialysis, assessing patient responses, and documenting treatment details. They will also assist with patient education, maintain a clean and safe environment, and report any significant changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse. Additionally, they are responsible for calculating and entering individual patient dialysis machine programming and ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled.
