Candidates must be a certified Paramedic with current licensure, possess a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate a strong understanding of emergency medical procedures and protocols. Experience in clinical research settings is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Paramedic will provide basic and advanced medical care to study subjects, both emergent and non-emergent, monitoring their health and well-being at all times. They will also continuously assess and treat adverse events, determine when to report them to the physician/investigator, and deliver daily reports of adverse events. The Paramedic will monitor cardiac telemetry, perform technical procedures such as blood collection and ECGs, assist with logistical planning, and administer study drugs as directed, while maintaining subject safety as the top priority.
