Responsibilities

Answering inbound and making outbound calls to customers in a professional manner
Address patient inquiries, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate departments when necessary
Offer resources to patients for additional support (financial assistance, emotional support, etc.) through relevant programs and third-party vendors
Work with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies to facilitate the timely and efficient approval and delivery of medications
Coordinate with healthcare providers and partner pharmacies to ensure smooth transitions in care
Maintain accurate records to track and document patient interactions
Ensure all patient information is handled confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Provide technical support for any pharmacy-related inquiries, including navigating patient portals or troubleshooting
Work closely with pharmacy staff, clinical teams, and external partners to resolve patient issues and improve overall patient care and satisfaction
Participate in team meetings to provide feedback, suggest improvements, and stay informed about new programs and policies
Verifying patient information and assisting with medication orders
