Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-high school education a plus; in lieu, enrolled in high school vocational program or attending college)
  • 1 year of call center/customer service experience highly preferred
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred
  • Clear verbal communication, written communication, and reading comprehension in English and Spanish
  • Basic computer skills (typing 35 wpm, data entry, Internet savvy, MS Windows, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a sales mentality
  • Ability to accurately interpret information, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a friendly, customer service-oriented persona
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and productivity goals
  • Open availability for evenings and weekends (hours 9:00AM to 7:00PM)
  • Able to sit in a chair for extended periods, speak/hear via telephone headset, type on keyboard, and use computer mouse

Responsibilities

  • Take incoming telephone calls from Chuck E. Cheese guests; discuss location information, options for birthday parties, and organizational parties; assist in scheduling fundraising events
  • Respond appropriately to guest objections and questions
  • Deliver accurate descriptions of services regarding birthday parties and fundraising campaigns
  • Record each call by accurately documenting status and comments in the appropriate database or platform
  • Increase birthday party sales by delivering excellent customer service and upselling party package options
  • Minimize guests’ hold times by following all processes
  • Perform other duties and aid co-workers as directed by supervisor or Corporate Management Team
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to support business needs
