Position Overview

ConnectOS is seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate to join an esteemed legal team serving families and individuals in North Carolina. This is a remote, full-time position with a competitive monthly package.

Salary

• Monthly Package: P60,000 – P70,000

Schedule

• Work Hours: 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM PHT

Requirements

Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate as a paralegal.
• Knowledge of North Carolina court filing procedures is preferred.
• Strong drafting, attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently while collaborating with a small team.
• Compassionate and client-centered approach with high ethical standards.
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
• Friendly, proactive, and client-focused demeanor.
• Experience working remotely with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency with remote tools such as Zoom, shared drives, CLIO, WEALTHCOUNSEL, LAWMATICS, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives) using WEALTHCOUNSEL.
• Handle probate and estate administration matters from initial filings to closing.
• Prepare court forms, inventories, accountings, and related filings in North Carolina.
• Prepare and send engagement letters.
• Enter and maintain accurate case information in CLIO.
• Coordinate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and manage case progress.
• Track legal deadlines and proactively manage task lists.
