Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program or equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a strong emphasis on real estate transactions and corporate governance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with legal entity management platforms (e.g., CSC) is preferred. Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The Corporate Paralegal will prepare and file entity formation and qualification documents, draft and review operating agreements and bylaws, maintain corporate records, assist with entity dissolutions and real estate transactions, order and review title reports, organize data rooms, prepare signature packages, review contracts, support real estate team in deal structuring, draft basic transaction documents, monitor compliance with filing deadlines, maintain databases, coordinate with external counsel, partner with legal and engineering teams to deploy AI tools, develop and optimize legal processes, evaluate and implement legal tech tools, generate reports on legal team KPIs, and coordinate with real estate, finance, and other departments to align legal processes with broader business operations.
