  • Prepare signature packages and assist in transaction closings
  • Review and abstract key provisions of real estate contracts, leases, and loan documents
  • Support real estate team in deal structuring
  • Draft and revise basic transaction documents, such as NDAs, LOIs, and escrow instructions, under attorney supervision
  • Prepare and file UCC financing statements, amendments, and terminations; conduct and review UCC and lien searches
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with filing deadlines, annual reports, and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain databases and systems for document management and tracking legal matters
  • Coordinate with external counsel and service providers as needed
  • Partner with legal and engineering teams to design and deploy AI-enabled tools for document review, contract analysis, and knowledge management
  • Develop, optimize, and document legal processes and workflows to improve efficiency, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage legal tech tools, including matter management, document automation, and compliance solutions
  • Generate regular reports and metrics on legal team KPIs, contract turnaround times, and legal spend
  • Coordinate with real estate, finance, and other departments to align legal processes with broader business operations
  • Help build and maintain legal knowledge bases, FAQs, and self-service tools for internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a strong emphasis on real estate transactions and corporate governance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
