The California annual base salary for this role is currently $110,000 - $128,000. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on factors like skills, experience, and internal equity.

Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, 3+ years of parachute design experience with project ownership, strong engineering design fundamentals, experience with CAD software like GliderPlan or NX, expertise in textile design including sewing and rigging, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup.
The role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment as a key member of the Accurate Landing Team, reporting to the Director of Engineering.
Strong candidates will have the required 3+ years of parachute design experience with project ownership, plus desired qualifications like drop test experience, USPA Class A license, FAA Senior Rigger Certification, or JPADS experience to stand out.
