  • Ability to report to work on time and work the entire scheduled shift with timely and regular attendance

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMPs, and general instructions, with good communication skills
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out oral and written instructions
  • Regularly stand, walk (at least 70% of the time), lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds (frequently 30-35 pounds), squat, kneel, bend, climb steps and 10ft vertical ladders
  • Ability to work in cold (40-50°F), hot (90-100°F) environments, tolerate exposure to flour and yeast, and moderate to high noise levels

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
  • Maintain assigned shift attendance
  • Work in all areas of production and packaging, including operating machinery, being in close proximity to it, and crossing platforms over it
  • Work as part of a team
  • Assist fellow employees as needed
  • Work on and fix mechanical issues such as replacing cylinders, bearings, belts, pulleys, etc
