Requirements

High-school degree or equivalent
Ability to report to work on time and work the entire scheduled shift with timely and regular attendance
Ability to successfully handle and manage stress
Accustomed to working in a high-volume, fast-paced, complex, and busy environment
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills with a “can-do” mindset and ability to act
Flexibility to work additional hours, overtime, or rotating 12-hour shifts as needed
Team player attitude with positive, professional interaction and cooperation with others
Supply own hand tools
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMPs, and general instructions, with good communication skills
Ability to apply common sense to carry out oral and written instructions
Regularly stand, walk (at least 70% of the time), lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds (frequently 30-35 pounds), squat, kneel, bend, climb steps and 10ft vertical ladders
Ability to work in cold (40-50°F), hot (90-100°F) environments, tolerate exposure to flour and yeast, and moderate to high noise levels

Responsibilities

Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
Maintain assigned shift attendance
Work in all areas of production and packaging, including operating machinery, being in close proximity to it, and crossing platforms over it
Work as part of a team
Assist fellow employees as needed
Work on and fix mechanical issues such as replacing cylinders, bearings, belts, pulleys, etc
