Requirements

  • 3 years minimum experience in managing multidisciplinary projects (technical, functional, financial risks, regulatory, legal, or others) in the financial sector. Experience with Grupo Santander, preferably in wholesale banking projects, is valued
  • University Degree/Bachelor's in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration (ADE), Mathematics, or Physics
  • Perfect command of MS Office tools
  • Advanced English level (C1)
  • Knowledge of wholesale banking is valued
  • Knowledge of Grupo Santander's infrastructure, processes, and Markets business is valued
  • Project Management certifications are valued
  • Availability for travel

Responsibilities

  • Elaborate detailed work plans for projects in collaboration with the EPO Manager and team
  • Identify tasks, milestones, and responsible parties for each work stream
  • Collaborate in the implementation of functional and technical objectives of the master plan (meeting key deliverables/milestones)
  • Track the implementation of project deliverables/milestones end-to-end and communicate status
  • Manage risks impacting or potentially impacting project success: identification, documentation, communication, and escalation as needed
  • Manage interdependencies: ensure they are properly identified and all affected parties are informed
  • Seek solutions to potential conflicts, ensuring milestones are met on time
  • Coordinate various stakeholders involved in projects at corporate, factory, and subsidiary levels
  • Coordinate communication regarding project progress, risks, and costs
  • Collaborate in preparing status reports and progress updates for project management and the Area direction
