Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent GED
Flexibility to work various overnight shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Ability to operate general office equipment
Ability to maintain confidential information
Minimal knowledge of contemporary substance abuse treatment practices in a residential setting
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure generated through association with substance abuse students
RADT certification a plus

Responsibilities

Supervises students during quiet and sleeping hours and constantly remains awake and alert
Makes bed checks and documents at the scheduled time as required
Assumes supervision responsibilities in the absence of faculty
Contacts designated faculty as directed and notifies them of problems and/or incidents
Completes required forms for faculty intention meetings
Serves as advisor and positive role model for assigned students
Prevents, intervenes, and reports student altercations and incidents
Administers First Aid and CPR during emergencies in accordance with the American Red Cross
Conducts and practices emergency evacuation procedures
Assists in maintaining facility grounds and keeping equipment in proper working condition
Responsible for Critical Incidents and Incident reporting when occurs during scheduled shift
Up-loading clinical supportive documentation (i.e.: motivation logs, intentions forms)
Performs other related duties as assigned
