Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required
Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
Ability to stand and move continuously on hard surfaces most of the time
Ability to frequently position oneself (bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, stooping) to examine/scan merchandise
Ability to frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds; lift/move heavy/awkward objects >30 pounds with assistance

Responsibilities

Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner; inspects forklifts prior to use and follows safety standards
Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to/from delivery trucks; inspects and prepares trucks for unloading
Accurately receives all merchandise and materials delivered to the club
Lifts, reserves, and drops pallets of merchandise to/from overhead steel and sales floor; prepares pallets (wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, correcting broken pallets)
Transports merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club; utilizes pallet jack as needed
Stocks, rotates, and stores general and food merchandise; ensures fully stocked; handles damaged/spoiled merchandise per company policies
Ensures club is neat, clean, and organized; performs general maintenance (e.g., removing trash and cardboard)
Participates in daily club openings and closings; returns merchandise to sales floor
Greets Members; provides prompt, courteous service and assistance; helps locate merchandise
Maintains all club policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned and works in other departments as needed
