Requirements

  • BC/BE psychiatrist
  • Strong interest in TMS
  • Commitment to teamwork, patient outcomes, quality care, and program growth
  • Participate in training to develop TMS skills, if not already experienced
  • Commit to at least two in-person clinic days per week for mapping and remapping visits (Metrowest area or Weymouth)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial patient assessments (in person or via telehealth), confirm diagnoses, and document medical necessity using an AMD template and supporting forms
  • Closely oversee the TMS technician, co-sign daily treatment notes, and be readily available for clinical questions
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust protocols as needed, and provide discharge summaries to the primary/referring psychiatric clinician
  • Represent the TMS program to internal and external clinicians to educate and coordinate care
  • Provide a mix of TMS and outpatient psychiatric clinic work (full-time) or primarily TMS services (part-time)
