Candidates should possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. A minimum of one year of recent clinical experience is preferred, and prior dialysis experience is not required as the company will provide training. Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills are also necessary.
The Outpatient Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They will perform ongoing data collection and analysis, make adjustments to treatment plans, administer medications, and initiate emergency response measures. Additionally, the nurse will provide patient and family education, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensure correct laboratory procedures, and serve as a resource for the healthcare team while fulfilling the requirements of the Clinical Advancement Program.
