Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Fresenius Kidney Care’s Clinical Advancement Program requirements
Ability to perform ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data
Ability to adjust or modify treatment plans as indicated
Ability to recognize and report patient status variations
Ability to administer medications as prescribed
Commitment to completing requirements for advancement to higher CAP levels within 24 months

Responsibilities

Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-during-post hemodialysis treatment
Documents patient data in the medical record
Adjusts or modifies the treatment plan as indicated
Notifies Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or Physician as needed
Assesses daily assigned patient care needs and collaborates with direct and ancillary patient care staff
Provides chronic hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients
Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s)
Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures are performed
Reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections
Ensures patient safety and adheres to facility policies and procedures
