The candidate should possess a strong understanding of OT systems and cyber risk management in industrial environments, demonstrating a proactive mindset towards protecting operational assets. Outstanding collaborative abilities are also required. Experience with USCG compliance, SCADA systems, PLCs, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework is highly desirable.
The OT Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist will oversee USCG compliance, manage cybersecurity plans, and act as the primary contact for USCG inspections, assessing security control effectiveness. Responsibilities include designing secure OT network architecture, leading secure configuration of industrial devices, managing intrusion detection systems, and developing OT cybersecurity best practices. The role involves conducting security and vulnerability assessments, evaluating cyber risks, developing and testing incident response and disaster recovery plans, and ensuring personnel receive cybersecurity training. Additionally, the specialist will maintain detailed cybersecurity documentation, implement controls for OT systems, monitor and respond to cybersecurity events, coordinate vulnerability assessments, support the development of Facility Security Plans, interface with the USCG, conduct risk assessments, and provide cybersecurity input on capital projects and system upgrades.
