Requirements

  • Capability to receive, stock, and organize merchandise using company procedures, equipment, and documentation
  • Proficiency in operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges for various membership/payment types
  • Expertise in selling optical products/services: assisting with decisions, measuring/adjusting/repairing frames/lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescriptions, handling paperwork, collecting payments, and performing/recording optometric pretests

Responsibilities

  • Provide member service in the Optical area, including acknowledging members, assisting with purchases, resolving concerns, and promoting company products/services
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing, and securing items
  • Maintain the Sales Floor in the Optical area per company policies: handle claims/returns, zone the area, arrange/organize merchandise, identify shrink/damages
  • Receive, stock, organize, and maintain the Optical area following procedures, using equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs
  • Operate cash registers/equipment, process member purchases, handle payments/returns/refunds/exchanges
  • Sell optical products/services: assist members, measure/adjust/repair frames/lenses, complete eyewear/contact lens orders, verify prescriptions, manage paperwork/payments, perform/record optometric pretests
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture, build team relationships, mentor/develop others
