Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of related experience
Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies, procedures, instructions, and meet schedules
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities while exhibiting attention to detail
Basic computer skills such as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, steel toe shoes, safety vest, hair nets)
Ability to safely operate a 26’ foot box truck and transit vehicle
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and lift 35 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift
Ability to work in normal to extreme conditions: Ambient, Cold Room (2-8°C), Freezer (-20°C), and Ultra Cold (-80°C Upright Freezer)
Good communication skills and customer service skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong attendance performance and readiness to start work on-time daily
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing life science company
Biology or chemistry background

Responsibilities

Verify and issue component materials to work orders working both individually or as part of a team in accordance with established standard operating procedures to ensure customers receive materials that meet or exceed quality specifications
Optimally communicate and collaborate with work groups to ensure the completion of daily production
Work in laboratory environment while adhering to room specific PPE requirements
Ensure and maintain inventory control, as required
Satisfactorily complete ThermoFisher Scientific training requirements on time and operate within all ISO and FDA standards pertaining to Frederick Site Manufacturing
Perform multiple transactions in ERP system
Perform product inspections and verify SKU, LOT, and QTY
Properly handle and process materials that are in temperature sensitive conditions in accordance with established standard operating procedures
