Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (up to 50 pounds max unassisted infrequently)
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards
  • Compliance with cleanroom restrictions: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc
  • Ability to stand for full shift (8 hours a day with additional overtime as needed)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment with specific gowning (gloves, hair & beard net, face cover, safety glasses) and PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Ability to move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping; use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
  • Follow all safety protocols and drive quality in all activities
  • Weekend PM (Nights) schedule: Fri-Mon 6:00PM - 6:30AM

Responsibilities

  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
  • Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
  • Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
  • Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise issues to leadership when appropriate
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling and manufacturing product
  • Participate in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/or Kaizen events
