Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (up to 50 pounds max unassisted infrequently)
  • Ability to stand for full shift (10 hours), including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
  • Compliance with cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair; specific gowning (gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, safety glasses)
  • Ability to work with hazardous/toxic materials and use PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8-10 hours per shift with overtime, Mon-Fri 7:30PM-6:00AM

Responsibilities

  • Manually assemble tubing and connectors for the medical industry
  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
  • Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
  • Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise issues to leadership when appropriate
  • Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product
  • Participate in Lean PPI culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/or Kaizen events
  • Follow all safety protocols
