Requirements

  • Experience following and executing SOPs in pilot or full-scale manufacturing plants, including the use of material processing equipment and chemical handling
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems, inventory transactions, and tracking serial numbers accurately (preferred)
  • Meticulous attention to detail when working with hardware, materials, or chemicals, and when entering or logging data
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude
  • Commitment to developing and supporting a cohesive team and fostering an effective and healthy work environment
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Excel or MES systems (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate and handle power tools
  • No physical limitations to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, when required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and handle materials such as battery components, electrodes, and separators, following established SOPs
  • Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of tools and machinery for efficient manufacturing
  • Participate in multiple stages of the manufacturing process, such as assembly, testing, electrode production, and cell fabrication
  • Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize cycle time, and increase production efficiency
  • Support the development of new processes, products, and technologies at various manufacturing levels
  • Train and support colleagues once fully trained and help implement process improvements
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Complete production documentation and assist in the transfer of materials to subsequent stages of production
