Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable English words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities

Responsibilities

Oversee output, specifications, and overall quality
Work with operators and provide aid in packaging and housekeeping
Assume the Supervisor role for the shift in the absence of the regular Supervisor
Perform all duties and responsibilities required of A, B, and C Operators
Gauge when the line is hot and ready to start
Make heat adjustments on extruder for quality pipe
Maintain INK JET printers and select correct print
Give breaks to line operators in area of responsibility
Responsible for Production Pre-Start Checklist and start up a line from start to finish in a timely manner with end results of quality product
Keep all tooling put up in correct place
Set a premier example to others as to safe work habits, attitude, and company goals
Select proper silo and material for product
Comply with all Company policies and procedures
Support all company policies, goals, and objectives
Perform other duties as instructed by the Supervisor or as required
