Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (up to 50 lbs. max unassisted infrequently)
  • Ability to stand for full shift (8 hours) and move about, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment, including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
  • Compliance with cleanroom restrictions: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair
  • Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, hair/beard net, face cover)
  • Tolerance for strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products)
  • No previous work experience required

Responsibilities

  • Manually assemble tubing and connectors for the medical industry
  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
  • Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
  • Perform visual inspections on in-process and finished products and report issues to leadership
  • Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
  • Participate in Lean PPI culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/or Kaizen events
  • Follow all safety protocols
