Requirements

Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in networking, with a strong background in routing, switching, and network design
Proficiency with Aruba SD-WAN technologies and solutions
Experience with Aruba LAN/WAN, Wireless network solutions is highly preferred
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) and network infrastructure technologies
Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize Aruba network performance
Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who are not technically trained
Must be customer focused and have the ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues
Ability to interface with senior levels of internal / external organizations
Ability to mentor more junior Systems Engineers in the assigned territory
Ready to work in rotational shifts in 24x7 operations
15 years full time education
ACMP certification preferred
CCNA or equivalent certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Provide support in the areas of Wired Networking and Wireless Networking
Ability to perform monitoring of various WLAN technologies and topologies
Architect and deploy Aruba wireless solutions, including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Access Points (APs), and ClearPass Policy Manager
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, with good communication (written and oral) and coordination skills
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and implementation plans
Consult with both internal as well as client teams to drive solutions from design to completion
Provide leadership in technical problem management and the resolution of all issues, working closely with end customers and HP/Aruba remote and field support staff
Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers and/or relevant managers
Participate in after-hours remote support rosters
Technical writing skills will be required to publish Issue resolution documents (KM & KT)
Required to communicate effectively with Technical and Non-Technical stakeholders and should have the ability to drive the conversation/discussion
Participate/Drive ITIL based change management, Problem management, incident management
