Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of progressive technical experience supporting operations or intelligence communities
  • At least 4 years of operational experience in mission planning for aircraft weapons systems, navigation systems, tactical comms, and C2 platforms, and development and execution of peacetime/wartime SOF missions
  • Working knowledge of Joint and SOF operational tools and platforms
  • Familiarity with task organization, mission command principles, and support relationships
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for SOCOM and Joint Staff operational and targeting cycles
  • Train and assist users on programs of record such as COP Management, OAI Management, Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR), Tactical Data Links (TADL), and other C2 systems
  • Participate in working groups and forums across AoR such as COP, Joint Fires, Sustainment, Protection, and TADL Working Groups
  • Analyze unit-specific operational technology gaps and report findings to SOCOM
  • Collaborate with regional GSSE leads and Joint Task Forces to ensure synchronized support
