Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Maintenance Management Programs, and other job-related specific systems
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the operation of customer service
Possess a valid Driver’s License
Ability to complete a background check, pre-placement physical, and drug screen
Ability to work in outdoor environments, including hazardous conditions requiring protective equipment (OSHA compliant), confined spaces, ladders, rooftops, adverse weather, with chemicals, machinery, moving parts; involving frequent standing, walking (6-8 hours daily), sitting (1-3 hours), bending, reaching, lifting (light to moderate), manual dexterity, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
Ability to work irregular schedules, overtime, and on-call rotation

Responsibilities

Installation of water meters in the district
Manage water meter inventory
Changing out water meters
Repairing water meters
Meeting with customers about water and sewer issues
Perform locates of water and sewer lines throughout the district
Perform operations/maintenance and housekeeping in accordance with contract requirements
Trouble shooting (routes, water quality issues)
Read meters
Maintains communication with project personnel
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment
Perform service orders
Complies with all company Health and Safety procedures
Other customer service-related job duties
