Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing shifts and account needs with flexibility
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., HSPA) and meet vendor credentialing requirements for all assigned accounts
  • Exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects
  • Remain standing or walking for an extended period of time
  • Meet work schedule to ensure consistent surgical coverage as required by the medical facility
  • Adhere to Stryker’s code of conduct and HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, high-quality standards, and demonstrating professionalism in work ethic, attitude, and appearance
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience with medical device support or in a clinical environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of operating room standards and sterile processing practices (preferred)
  • HSPA/CRCST certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and care for Customer’s equipment within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
  • Perform the cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Use exceptional attention to detail to ensure surgeon’s equipment is clean, sterile, functioning properly, and ready for the next case
  • Perform job functions while adhering to all industry and facility-specific standards and safety protocols
  • Understand the unique challenges faced by caregivers to ensure that hospital staff can focus on patient care
