Responsibilities

Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment
Provides restraint care to patients in restraints
Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately
Assists in orientation of healthcare team
Communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s)
Maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics
Other duties as assigned
