Requirements
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) qualification
- Ability to provide licensure supervision (if licensed)
- Expertise in mental health assessments, case presentations, and diagnostic methodologies
- Knowledge of state licensing standards, county requirements, internal policies, OARs, HIPAA, and mandatory reporting
- Familiarity with SOPs, EHR, trauma-informed care, Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), evidence-based practices, community resources, crisis management, skills training, case management, and community engagement
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Woodland Park Health Center in NE Portland, OR
- Participation in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight, support, and professional development for QMHPs on the ITBC team
- Supervise QMHPs and QMHP interns, including individual and group supervisory sessions
- Monitor and approve employee timesheets and time-off requests
- Follow Quality Management/Population Health department’s chart audit procedures to ensure quality work and compliance with standards
- Follow emergency protocols, guide staff in crises, and adhere to mandatory abuse reporting laws and HIPAA
- Ensure QMHPs are trained on assessments, treatment plans, and integrated treatment approaches
- Coach staff on SOPs, EHR, trauma-informed care, FIT, evidence-based practices, community resources, crisis management, OARs, HIPAA, mandatory reporting, skills training, case management, and community engagement
- Coordinate with other QMHA Supervisors for one monthly clinical training for QMHPs
- Oversee credentialing and training needs of QMHPs in collaboration with Cascadia’s training department
- Manage employee performance, including support plans, disciplinary actions, and responding to grievances
- Make hiring and separation decisions in collaboration with ITBC managers and People & Culture (P&C)
- Set priorities, develop work plans, assess progress, and manage performance in collaboration with ITBC managers
- Identify and nurture Emerging Leaders, providing leadership in initiatives and Strength-Based Leadership learning
- Provide clinical consultation to the full ITBC team
- Attend staff meetings, supervision sessions, other meetings, and complete required trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Participate in on-call rotation
